🏛️ Huduma Centre
The Huduma Centre is a game changer for Kimilili! I went there yesterday to process my driving licence and everything was smooth — no more travelling to Bungoma town. This is real transformation that we can see and feel. Asante sana Mheshimiwa for delivering on this promise. Tulikuwa tumechoka kwenda Bungoma for simple services.

🏥 Maternity Wing
My daughter delivered safely at the new maternity wing in Maeni. Before this facility, we had to rush to Bungoma County Hospital at night on terrible roads — it was terrifying and many women lost babies on the way. Now we have proper care right here. God bless you Hon. Barasa. This facility is literally saving lives.

💧 Borehole Project
The borehole water is clean and reliable. Our children no longer miss school to fetch water from the river 4km away. My wife used to spend 3 hours every morning on water — now it takes 10 minutes. Please consider extending this programme to the neighbouring villages of Cheptonon and Kamtiong.

Brian, glad to hear the borehole is serving the community well. Cheptonon and Kamtiong are already in our pipeline for Phase 2 of the water programme. We are working with the County Government on this. 💧

🔧 Youth Polytechnic
My son learned welding at Ndivisi Youth Polytechnic with the new equipment donated through CDF. He now runs his own workshop and employs two other young men. This is the kind of empowerment our youth need — not handouts but skills and tools. Please continue investing in our polytechnics Mhesh!

🏪 Market Upgrade
Kamukuywa Market construction is progressing well — the drainage system is almost done and it has already reduced flooding during the rains. However, we are concerned about the pace of the stall construction. Can the MP ensure the contractor speeds up? Many traders are still operating in temporary structures.

🛤️ Kaptama Road
The road rehabilitation work in Kaptama is much needed. During rains, the old road was completely impassable — matatus would get stuck and we had to walk for kilometres. Please ensure the contractor finishes on schedule. Also, the stretch from Kaptama junction to Cheptais market needs attention next.

📚 Bursary Programme
As a single mother of three, I was losing hope when my daughter got admitted to senior school. I couldn't afford the fees. Then the CDF bursary came through and my daughter is now in Form 1. I thank God and the MP for paying my daughter's school fees. Education is everything — it changes generations.

Mama Nafula, no student in Kimilili will stay at home because of school fees — that is my commitment. We allocated KES 60M (60% of our CDF) to bursaries this year. Your daughter's future is bright! 📚

🎓 Matili Polytechnic
The elevation of Matili Technical Training Institute to national polytechnic status is a huge milestone for Kimilili! This means our young people can now get nationally-recognised qualifications without travelling far. As a former student, I'm proud to see how far Matili has come. The new workshop equipment has also improved the quality of training significantly.
