Inspected cabro paving and tiling progress at Lutonyi Primary School. Works are 75% complete with the contractor on schedule. The drainage system has been properly laid, and the remaining section (eastern wing) is expected to be completed by mid-April. Met with the headteacher and school board of management.

Historic day! H.E. President William Ruto officially commissioned the Kimilili Huduma Centre. The centre is now fully operational, offering driving licence processing, ID services, business registration, and other government services. Over 5,000 residents attended the launch ceremony. Announced additional development plans for the constituency.

Met with the main contractor and sub-contractors at Kamukuywa Market site. Drainage system is 80% complete and functioning well — reduced flooding during last week's rains. Discussed timeline for market stall construction and sanitation block. Instructed contractor to accelerate works to meet the May deadline.

Final inspection of the Kimilili Huduma Centre ahead of the presidential commissioning. Officials from the Nairobi Huduma Centre Headquarters were present. All furniture, IT equipment, and signage installed. Connectivity and power backup systems tested and confirmed operational. The centre is 100% ready.

Visited Section B of the Kaptama–Elgon road rehabilitation project. Culvert installation is progressing well and on schedule. The contractor has completed 4 of 7 planned culverts. Road base preparation for the next 3km stretch is underway. Met with the KeRRA supervising engineer.

Inspected the storey building under construction at Daraja Mungu Primary School. First floor construction is complete and second floor slab has been cast. Structural integrity confirmed by the supervising engineer. Concrete testing results are satisfactory. On track for June 2025 completion.

Attended the handover of the first batch of 60 solar-powered street lights installed across Kaptama trading centres and school routes. Community leaders expressed gratitude for improved security. Night economic activity has reportedly increased. Phase 2 (remaining 60 lights) procurement is underway.
